How To Burn Calories Quickly Using Strength & Cardio Methods

Have you ever wondered how many calories you could burn everyday taking the stairs instead of the elevator? If you added them up you would be amazed at the thousands of calories burned in one year.

On the other hand, strength training primarily contributes to weight loss by helping to increase the speed of your resting metabolic rate (RMR), which is the number of calories your body burns while you are at rest

The more calories your body burns, the more weight you are able to lose. And the more muscle tone that your body has, the more calories your body will burn around the clock, whether moving or at rest.

  1. Can I just work on maintaining my weight and just exercise regularly? I found that dieting by this or that system, which makes me feel faint sometimes, is a bit too harsh to a beginner. :D

  2. Restricting too many calories below your maintenance levels will not give you the energy required to exercise at any level. Carbohydrates are especially important since they supply the energy for any work we do with our body.

    So the answer to your question is YES you can maintain your weight and exercise regularly. Eating complex carbs [broccoli,beans] and good fats [almonds,avocado]will give you the nutrition you need and energy as well.

    Go to the link below and figure out your “basal metabolic rate” which will give you your daily maintenance calories required to keep your current weight the same.

    This rate will depend on how active you and your body size.
